"Dwelling" 1969

Acrylic paint on panel. Signed R. Weaver lower right. Winner of the Bates Brothers, Inc. Merit Award at the 35th Indiana Artists Club Exhibition, 1969. "Dwelling" looked at the possibility of the ultimate treehouse. In this case REW placed the Armour-Stiner House of Irvington, NY into a man-made tree. Many of REW's works asked the question, “What if?” He would induce his students at the Herron Art Institute to ask the same question. #W61. (private collection)
